Bridge Road, Richmond organized an event “A Global Gathering” as part of Melbourne Food and Wine Festival. The event occurred at various restaurants, cafes and bars down Bridge Rd on March 1st.
To help promote the event, they wanted to encourage users to generate their own content via Social Media.
How ROLLER helped Bridge Road, Richmond
ROLLER built a competition app whereby users uploaded their “Food Selfie” to Instagram with the universal hashtag created: #BridgeRdLife. To tie in with Facebook, we also created an app that pulled all uploaded content that used the designated hashtag into a gallery.
The competition was promoted throughout the event and social media to motivate visitors to capture and share their moments at A Global Gathering.
The competition ran for one day on March 1st, receiving 100 entries and had an entry conversion rate of 175.40% over the short time frame.
